Meet Jennifer Slovencik
School & Community Programs Facilitator - Empathy & Communication
I design and facilitate school and community programs that support emotional literacy, empathy, and practical communication skills for children and adults. My work is shaped by the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), which I've been studying and practicing since 2007.
Through years of working with children, families, and community groups, I’ve seen how often challenges arise when emotions are difficult to identify, express, or understand. In moments of stress, conflict, or transition, this lack of emotional awareness can affect how we communicate and create strain in relationships.
That's why I’m passionate about creating learning experiences that make these skills easy to grasp and apply. My programs are designed to be accessible, engaging, and immediately useful — helping people better understand themselves and one another in everyday life.
